Excerpt from: South American War on Drugs
-Bill Sherman Reporting

Hello and welcome from the sunny country of Nitehawk. The DEA had pulled out of the area over 12 months ago, but tensions between the cartel have risen causing the US government to send the DEA back into the region. We are currently in the Southern sector of the country where the DEA is working with the local population to gain an upper hand and work to protect all the locals. Far away from the prying eyes of the American government the Halcon and Los Burros Leadership has started a new campaign against each other. This reporter has received reports coming back from DEA agents on the ground that they are meeting opposition with the local government, who appear to be controlled by the cartels.

Both cartels have moved into the town of Brandonburg, splitting with the lines being split evenly chaos rages as the two cartels battle for resources and for land. population just trying to live their life and stay out of the cartel’s way. What is going happen to these citizens and what is going happen during this bloody cartel war we will have to find out. Many detractors in the states have asked why do we even bother and shouldn't we let them just K*ll themselves off. Local DEA leadership has confirmed that they have been told by the American government to stay out of this area.

We will try to get as much information to you as possible and this reporter is going to attempt to get boots on the ground and try to get more knowledge an understanding of what is motivating this massive cartel battle.
